How to find out what personal data companies store on you

It is your civil right to know what personal data companies store about you. Our startup Idlegcy now has a free tool that allows you to reach out and ask for it. Curious? Take a peek at I.CNTRL.ME. Add the companies you are curious about and we’ll help you get in touch.

One of our startups Idlegcy, is now launching a tool for every curious individual. Do you want to know what personal data the government is storing on you? What files your doctor is keeping? What your supermarket knows about you? Here is the free instrument that allows you to get in touch and know all about … you. The tool is called I.CNTRL.ME, and allows you to make a list of companies and organisations that you are curious about.

  • get yourself a free account on https://i.cntrl.me
  • add the url of the companies you are curious about
  • we inspect their privacy statements and let you know when the app is ready for you
  • you login again and request them one by one to inspect your data
  • they can reply via mail, or via i.cntrl.me if they want to be more secure
